Dear parents, students, and family,
As you may already know, McCluer North is an International Baccalaureate World School, and your junior-senior year IB opportunity is quickly approaching! If you're a parent of an interested student, grade 8-10, please join us in person or virtually (sign up for virtual zoom link here).
What is the IB Program? The IB is an internationally recognized academic program of honors courses that leads to the awarding of the IB Diploma.
The IB Program is globally recognized; it allows students the chance to earn college credit, and is widely considered to be among the most prestigious ways to prepare for college. At McCluer North High School you have the opportunity to join the group of pre-IB students in honors classes in the 9th and 10th grade. This prepares you to take IB courses, or pursue the IB Diploma during your junior and senior year. Whether you are an aspiring underclassman who is looking for a challenge, or a current sophomore who is interested in more college level IB courses for next year, please join us with your parents for an online information session this Thursday December 9th at 5:00pm for an in person meeting with a virtual option! This will be a great opportunity to get more information, ask questions, and talk to current IB administrators.
We hope to see you there!
Sincerely,
The IB Team at McCluer North High School
